Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data Geonivora processes, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible
The controller is Geonivora. Contact: info@geonivora.com.
Server logs
When you open a page, our servers record your IP address, the address of the page, the time, and your browser’s user agent. We use these logs only to keep the service secure and working, and delete them after 14 days.
No tracking cookies
Public pages set no cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, the choice is saved in your own browser’s storage and never sent to us.
Your location
Your location is requested only when you press “Use my location”. It is rounded to about 100 metres, sent once to build the list of nearby places and not stored, apart from the page address in the server logs described above.
Interactive maps
Maps are drawn by our own server. Only if you open an interactive map does your browser load map tiles from tile.openstreetmap.org, which then receives your IP address.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form (name, email address, message) are used only to answer you and are deleted after 180 days.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@geonivora.com. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
