Rena is the administrative centre of Åmot Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located at the confluence of the rivers Glomma (Norway's longest river) and Rena (a tributary to Glomma). It is located about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of the village of Åsta and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of the village of Koppang. The 2.04-square-kilometre (500-acre) village has a population (2024) of 2,117 and a population density of 1,038 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,690/sq mi).
