Vormstad is a village in Orkland Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the Orkla River between the villages of Svorkmo and Fannrem. The village of Hoston lies about 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) west of Vormstad. The 0.33-square-kilometre (82-acre) village had a population (2012) of 311 and a population density of 942 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,440/sq mi).
